The Balltown Classic 2008 starts at the Super 8 Motel, just off Highway
61 in Dewitt, IA. The motel has blocked out 15 rooms at a discounted price for participants.
To take advantage of the discount inform the clerk that you are a part of the ULTRA
MIDWEST bicycle race. These rooms will be released back to the motel on May 23th,
so don't wait too long, they went fast last year!

Pre-Race Get together
It has become tradition for riders to get together at the DeWitt Pizza
Hut for pasta and pizza, the evening before the race! This is an informal dinner
with no planned program, just a chance to meet and talk before the event. Plan on
joining in at the Pizza Hut, 6 PM Friday!

From Interstate 80/Davenport, Iowa: Turn north on US Highway 61
at the Brady Street Exit, Davenport, IA. Travel north to the second exchange (US
61 and US 30). East into De Witt, the Super 8 is right at 918 Westwood Drive.
From Dubuque, IA -- North of De Witt on US 61: South on US Highway
61 to the first exchange (US 61 and US 30). East into DeWitt, the Super 8 is right
at 918 Westwood Drive.
From Illinois on US 30: West on Highway 30 to US Highway 61. Take
US 61/30 to the next exchange (DeWitt exit). East into De Witt, the Super
8 is right at 918 Westwood Drive.
