General Information

All routes in 2010 will start in Le Claire, Iowa, and follow the Mississippi north to the Dubuque area where we will, at some point, cross into Wisconsin and travel through the hills a while, before returning to the Iowa side and LeClaire. Since we had to get the routes into RUSA before their 2009 deadline we did not have a lot of time to create a better variety of routes - but we will probably add some different ones for 2011. That said, riding this brevet series will challenge you to push yourself a little harder. The bluffs along the river offer wonderful views as you ride over rustic ridges, through small river towns and down tree lined descents. But for every downhill there is an up, and these rides wiill not shortchange anyone lookimg for a reason to climb. From the long ascents that characterize the Iowa side of the Mississippi, to the steeply winding county roads of Wisconsin, these brevets will test your strength and stamina. 200K Queue Sheet 300K Queue Sheet
