About Us   Ultra Midwest was organized as a Limited Liability Company in January, 2005. The LLC is registered in the State of Iowa and located in Davenport, IA.    The company was organized and is owned by Joe Jamison and Dave Parker. The primary purpose of the company is to provide organizational and promotional expertise for the production of bicycling racing and touring events, expecially long distance and endurance rides and races. UltraMidwest is also the owner of the Big Dogs Ultra Cycling web site. This is a free mileage logging site, specializing in endurance cycling. The site has been developed and maintained since 2001 by Dave Parker. Dave included the site in the LLC in order to formalize the site and better track the financial aspects of the web site. Joe is a long time cyclist with an impressive list of cycling credentials. Joe has completed Paris-Brest-Paris, Boston-Montreal-Boston and numerous brevets, double centuries and other long distance rides. In addition, Joe is a member of RUSA, he has been an officer in local cycling clubs and is the current chair of the UMCA John Marino Challenge.   Dave has been doing long distance cycling since 1990. He specializes in centuries and doubles and has completed in a number of 12 hour races. Dave is the creator and webmaster of the Big Dogs Endurance Cycling web site and has maintained records for the Big Dogs Century Challenge since 2001. In 2003, Dave was awarded the Louisville Cycling Club 'Semper Maximus' Award for contributions to the cycling community.
