A stop at THeo's for lunch and then the gym. Windy, but mid 50's is the warmest it's been here since early November. Saw a few folks on bp.
3/10/2010Joe Camp13.58Lunch ride with Sam - Almost as warm and as whiny I mean windy as TX
3/10/2010Melissa Hall35.2I don't ever remember being able to ride in shorts and jersey prior to Hell Week. Windy, but warm and sunny. The first crocus are shyly raising their heads. Heard frogs and saw snakes on the road. Thought I might be earning another new bike, this time with my other leg. I should have had them make a titanium riding crop for those days when I am wearing my eau de chien.
3/10/2010John Schlitter17.71LI pace endurance miles in windy North Texas
3/10/2010Tim Chilton25Rode across the bridge and over to the parks after work. A million cyclists in the park on a great day.
3/10/2010Deacon Matthew Levy2550: 19 - 13, 160.8 pounds, EF: Climbing Acceleration # 1, Z2: 130, Z3: 140, Z5: 155, Max 160, 159.2 pounds
3/10/2010Randy McElwee20.1Half loop of town with Greg, then met Larry. Rode shortened normal route due to sunset. Greg & I dropped Larry for two stop signs south of town...of course that is only because he dropped his only piece of gum. Good ride.
3/10/2010G McDuff28.2One and half times around town and then a shortened morning route with Randy and Larry. Great late afternoon ride.
3/10/2010Dan Mittelberg20Josh and I rode the bottom road. Nice warm weather today.
3/10/2010Don Luth25.52Same route as yesterday. Temps in mid 50's lite winds and sunny. Really nice day for a ride, able to shed winter clothes. Rode the CX bike.
3/10/2010John Thier18 Road bike, beautiful day, temps in the low 50's.
3/10/2010Paul Carpenter62Commute... wet ride in. Rained most of the way and then the fog descended. Sunny for the ride home with temps in the low 50s but a stiff wind out of the SSE.
3/10/2010Jon Sims8Just riding around town for work related stuff and for the first time this year!
3/10/2010Don Daily15.25Same route as yesterday but 7 minutes faster due to better conditions.
3/10/2010Cathy Hill15Short ride to enjoy the warm weather...first time wearing shorts/sleeveless, but once the sun dropped I was chilly on the way back. Not excited about having my shoulder "manipulated" next Friday by the doctor, but I look forward to some pain relief once the swelling subsides.
3/10/2010Daryl Kunz31Trainer time, first time on a bike in 9 days. Odd and persistent pain under kneecaps that comes and goes at random. Spent the entire time wondering what it takes to become a stud.
3/10/2010Jim Moore30Sullivan School loop. Lovely afternoon for a ride ride, maybe our last for a while. Trying to push myself faster now that brevet season is here. My goal for today was 15 mph on a pretty hilly route, including the monster hill on Sullivan School Rd. Came up just a fraction short, but not bad.
3/10/2010Ben Snyder21.75None
3/10/2010Tim Haynie13.5A quick spin around town for my bday, first day of the year in shorts!
3/10/2010Tim Haynie2The reason todays ride was so short, first ride of the year with mini me to the park!!
3/10/2010Larry Ide70.74I just wanted to see if you were still alive Daryl. You're a stud as far as I'm concerned, afterall, we did sleep together last month. I think you even took a picture. JS- That pace might be a little quick for me. Today was the first day of the year without tights. Had a nice ride with Greg and Randy until I decided to blow by them and was breathing so hard I lost my gum. last piece so I turned around and went back for it. Found it, 5 mile rule.
3/10/2010Bruce Anderson55.66Warm and windy. 1st set of intervals (hahahah)
3/10/2010Kurt Searvogel123.5Great day to ride - rode big loop over to PB down to rison and fordyce then back up to leola then home. Pushed 19 for the first 4 hours going into and cross wind then held 22 for the last two hours to bring it back over 20 for the day.
3/10/2010Brenda Varner20.2It was a great day for a ride, perfect temp. (55 degrees). :-)
3/10/2010Tim Richardson31.5Swapping my shoes around daily to try and avoid the problems I got on RAW last year-cyst in right foot. Weight down to 10st 13lbs from 11-4 after hospital food.....
3/11/2010Bill Telle55None
3/11/2010Chris Gavin16.2Very jealous that I could not ride yesterday afternoon outside. Larry, next time remember to take some extra gum. Off to Big Ten tournament early tomorrow morning so I will miss breakfast. Go Illini!!
3/11/2010Tim Richardson31.5Getting some decent daily effort in now. Training indoors makes the kit much more unpleasant for my wife Irene to have to get out of the laundry basket to wash!
